phosphonotop
phosphonotop | park der frauen is a media project by vienna based artist victoria coeln. I was invited to participate as a photographer, capturing the shadows of two dancers that move in a place filled with coloured light. the photos were taken in b/w in order not to be distracted by colour as such but to perceive density, layers of depth and different stories evolving at the same time. I got absorbed by the idea to respond to an imprint, 2d images of an ongoing process. changing light sources created different angles of perception and reality felt stretched in a surrealistic way.
phosphonotop combines photographic work with chromograms and was created as part of the off mozart festival 2006 in salzburg, austria.
