double feature is a mixed media installation that has so far been realized as a 2d web application. the idea is to overlay visual layers to create depth and a possible interaction of visual content. the user is encouraged to customize the flow of images and alternate given settings.

the 3d application comprises of two beamers that project photographic images on two gauze screens from reverse sides. the images fade with a black phase in between. the projectors work timewise in opposition and give the spectator the notion of actual cross-fades, two different visual layers and depth. the application runs in loops.
